The Eden Project - Places you must visit on your Cornwall Holiday Mar 05

One attraction you simply must visit during your stay in Cornwall is The Eden Project, near St Austell in South Cornwall, this is a fabulous day out for all the family. Its hard to believe this wonderful place was a redundant clay pit just over a decade ago.

Eden is the very embodiment of a miniature planet, a living, breathing, moving, theatre of plant life and people, therefore in common with every major theatre the things that take place on this virtual stage is spectacular and perpetually changing. Discover the immense rain forest, the most immense greenhouses on the planet, in addition to artistic creation and architecture instigated by nature.

If you look hard enough you will chance upon hidden corners including Wild Cornwall, a micro Cornwall of yesteryear, or the Spiral Garden, and many others. To accommodate the younger visitor  there are trails and endless leafy places in which to play complete with shortcuts, hideouts, stepping stones and sandpits.
